SCALABLE SOLUTIONS

Xirrus offers scalable solutions which reduce both the amount of required hardware and the total cost of ownership. Take the example below, the diagram on the left shows traditional two radio APs are used, and you can see that two APs were needed in each classroom and six in the auditorium. With the design on the right using Xirrus, only one High-Density AP (a 4-radio AP) was required in the classrooms and only one (a 4-radio AP) in the auditorium. In the office areas to the right side of the diagram, two radio APs were used in both designs since the density is lower.
