Thursday the 6^th of July was a big day; Purdicom once again threw open its doors and hosted the 2017 Open Day.

After the roaring success of last year’s Open Day, standards were set high for our second.

So, of course, the forecast predicted storms.

Now, we know better than to take the weatherman at his word, and as it turned out, luck was on our side.

The weather was beautiful.

That said, we’d been prepared nonetheless. Each of our vendors arrived to find they’d been set up in a room to themselves. It gave them a space to make their own and really showcase their products and solutions.

This also gave the customers the opportunity to explore every nook and cranny of our amazing offices and training facilities set in the rural British countryside.

Every customer was greeted at reception by our friendly welcome team, ready to supply them with guidance and a Purdicom goody bag.

The entire day was packed tight with demos and presentations from each of our vendors. Our customers received a rare insight into the products they wanted to see most, right from the horse’s mouth.

1pm saw the crowds converge on the much-anticipated hog roast. With the sun beaming down, and friendly chatter throughout the gardens, vendor, customer and Purdicom staff alike enjoyed the easy atmosphere that so many come to associate with Purdicom.

We were even lucky enough to have Ollie Coles bring our sponsored race car on the day, giving car and racing enthusiasts a chance to get up close and personal with a class B race ready vehicle.

Our turnout was better than ever, and so was the critical response at the end of the day. Not only did the customers get to hear from the vendors personally, but they had a chance to chat with their account managers throughout the day.
