WiSE Certification Bootcamp
This course consists of classroom material and labs covering the installation, configuration, and management of ZoneDirector hardware and software.
COURSE OBJECTIVES:
Students will be taught the basics of configuring Ruckus Wireless Zone Directors and Access Points. On-line lecture material and lab exercises prepare the student for the WiSE Certification Test.
Objectives:
- Describe the ZoneFlex WLAN system
- Compare the ZoneDirector and ZoneFlex AP hardware models
- Install a ZoneDirector controller
- Configure a ZoneFlex WLAN system to support:
- WLAN service options
- User authentication options
- System administration options
- WLAN security options
- Captive portal services
- Wireless mesh networking
- Redundancy options for the ZoneDirector controllers
- Describe the network topology options for the ZoneFlex WLAN system
- Troubleshoot WLAN connectivity and performance issues
Audience:
Wireless networking professionals (network managers, systems engineers, support personnel) who wish to learn how to install Ruckus ZoneDirector controllers to manage ZoneFlex APs and configure basic-level features. This WiSE Bootcamp course is delivered by Ruckus Wireless Authorised Training Partner, Purdicom.
WiSE Certification Test
WiSE is Ruckus’ top-level certification. It ensures that you have the necessary skills to design, deploy, manage, and support robust wireless networks consisting of a range of Ruckus smart Wi-Fi products, including ZoneDirector controllers and Access Points. The WiSE Certification Test provides a 60 question final exam for students who have taken the WiSE Bootcamp training session. WiSE Certification is good for a two year period. This certification is intended for Ruckus partners and network engineers who manage ZoneDirector deployments.
